Kathmandu: The summit of the Nepal Medical Association is scheduled to be held on Saturday, September 25.

Organizing a press conference on Sunday, the association informed that the NMA National Health Summit-2021 is being organized this year as per the decision of the Central Executive Committee of the Association to celebrate the month of publication of the Journal of Nepal Association as a calendar event every year.

At a time when everyone’s attention was focused only on health in the epidemic of Kovid-19, the association got an opportunity to recognize the shortcomings in the health sector of Nepal under this summit. Karki said, “Nowadays, the program will be continued in a five-point manner, taking into account not only the epidemic but also other epidemics, our experiences, international practices, and the views of experts.”

According to him, Under that Pandemic Preparedness and Management in Context of Federalism, Human Resource and Service Delivery Pandemic, Government of Nepal’s Strategy on Covid-19 Vaccination, Multi-sectoral Response to Pandemic: Opportunity are lying.

The association has argued, the summit organizing committee is preparing educational activities and moving ahead with the necessary work.

The association has also urged health institutions, doctors, health workers and media persons across the country to make the program a success, which is said to be broadcast live on national television and social media.
