Indian travelers can pay through UPI apps in Nepal

Kathmandu- Indian tourists visiting Nepal can now make digital payments in Nepal.

According to the agreement between Nepal Fonepay Payment Service Ltd. and NPI, the international branch of the National Payments Corporation of India, Indian tourists will be able to make digital payments in Nepal. For this purpose, Indian tourists are required to download the UPI app.

Nepal and India are expected to benefit from this new partnership, along boost Nepal’s international tourism.
