Police organization reaches at all local levels

Kathmandu–  The reach of Nepal Police organization has expanded to all the 753 local levels.

The police organization has expanded to all the local levels now with the establishing of police outposts in 30 local levels where there was no police presence before. There was no police post in four municipalities and 26 rural municipalities.

Nepal Police central spokesman, Senior Superintendent Shailesh Thapa Chhetri said that the police administration has set up outposts in all the local levels in the country for consolidating law and order, and security at the local levels in line with federalism.

“We have assigned 1,065 police personnel to the four municipalities and 26 rural municipalities,” he said. RSS
