Saptari- India has distributed LPG gas stoves, cylinders and other materials in Tirhut Rural Municipality of Saptari.

During a ceremony on Sunday, India’s Consul General Nitesh Kumar and Nepal-India Women’s Friendship (NIWFS) Society President and Representative Assembly Member Chanda Chaudhary jointly handed over 275 LPG gas stoves, cylinders and other items to the needy families there.

It is said that the team has given a total of 3000 sets of gas stoves and 14.2 kg cylinders and regulators and pipes to the poor families of Sarlahi, Rautahat and Saptari districts as gifts by the Government of India.

Vijay Yadav, President of Tirhut Rural Municipality, Narendra Karki, SP of Saptari Radha Kayastha, Vice President, Nepal-India Women’s Friendship Society, local journalists and other stakeholders were present in the ceremony.
