Govind Gyawali’s training at SSP Bhandari-led training center

  Dudhauli:  Trainings on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was recently held at Bagmati State Programme Center, Dudhauli. In the training programme organized by Bagmati state Police Training Center, Govind Gyawali, the only certified trainer of Nepal from NLP Board of America imparted the training in presence of the Training center Commandant SSP Sandip Bhandari. The programme was participated by 500 people including senior and junior police officers of the center and the learners of basic and advanced training.   Trainer Gyawali imparted the training on how human brains function and how to assimilate the formula to succeed in life by knowing people and behaving accordingly among others. Commandant Bhandari said the programme would prove to be huge assistance making oneself expert in his work by excelling in service towards the nation and people. Saying the NLP training programme would increase the chances to develop the quality of police service at an international level, SSP Bhandari announced to give continuity to these enlightening programmes every month. Bus service from Bhimduttanagar to Haridwar

A bus service has come into operation from Bhimduttanagar of Kanchanpur to Haridwar and Deheradun of India. Pawandoot Bus Operator Company Pvt Ltd has initiated the Nepal-India friendly bus service. Member of the House of Representatives Nar Bahadur Dhami inaugurated the bus service amidst a programme on Wednesday. The distance from Bhimduttanagar to Haridwar and Deheradun is around 350 kilometres. A bus with air conditioner will leave for the destination from Bhimduttanagar daily. Bagmati state to operate bus service on its own

The Bagmati state government is also set to operate ‘electric bus’ on its own by establishing a separate independent agency. The Bagmati state government has decided not to provide money to Sajha Yatayat to purchase buses and put forward preparation to operate the service on its own. It may be noted that the federal government had decided to take back Rs 3 billion it had provided to Sajha for the purchase of electric buses. Though the Bagmati state had pledged to provide Rs 300 million to Sajha, the amount has not yet been disbursed, it is informed. The amount will be used to purchase electric buses, shared secretary at the ministry of physical infrastructure development, Tejraj Bhatta. “Sajha is not likely to get the money. However, the decision to that end is yet to be made. The state government will make necessary preparation after the decision”. The officials shared that the preparation is underway to set up ‘Yatayat Corporation’ to make necessary procurement and manage bus service within the state. ‘Connect technology and innovation with daily life’

Various speakers have highlighted the need to connect innovation of science and technology with daily life. At a consultative seminar on innovations organized by Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) on Wednesday, participants claimed that the science and technological advancement would help attain economic prosperity. They said the developing countries are also giving priority to information technology, satellite exploration, agriculture, health and energy management. The participants also stressed the need to expand investment areas in development research by unleashing knowledge, market and skills. Nepal is in 109th positions in global innovation ranking. State-2 Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Bijaya Kumar Yadav said the use of machine in agriculture would substantially contribute to materialize the country’s dream of prosperity. Likewise, State-1 Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative Ram Bahadur Magar underlined the need to link the use of innovations with agriculture and tourism industry to generate employment opportunities. State-1 Planning Commission vice-chair Subodh Raj Pyakurel said the country should adopt the path of self-reliance with enhanced access to global market by expanding innovative thinking capacity. Monitoring shows illegal operation of crusher industries

The District Monitoring Committee has drawn a conclusion that most of the crusher industries are being illegally operated in Jhapa. In keeping with the conclusion, efforts are also being initiated to immediately shut such industries. The district monitoring and coordination committee headed by Jhapa District Coordination Committee Chief Somnath Portel had made onsite monitoring of 27 crusher and sand processing industries being operational in the district. Organizing a press conference at Chandragadhi on Wednesday, the committee shared that there has been no registration and renewal of crusher and sand processing industry since 2072 BS. “These industries have also not maintained transaction details”, the committee added. In this connection, monitoring committee coordinator Portel drew serious attention of the federal and provincial governments for the evasion of tax by these industries. The monitoring team found that seven industries are in operation with license; five licensed industries are not operational and three are running pebble and sand crusher industries by only having license for sand processing. The committee has directed the industry owners to immediately stop its operation in Buddhashanti for not carrying out environment impact assessment.
