Nepal Police have busted three people with three kilograms of contraband hashish from Bhimdutta municipality-3, Bhashi of Kanchanpur. A joint team from Nepal Police Drug Control Bureau Section Office Bhimduttanagar and District Police Office on Thursday arrested maker Dhami, 38, and Gopal Dhami, 35, of Kedarasyu rural municipality-6, Bajhang and Jaya Bahadur Dhami, 23, of Bungal municipality-2, Bajhang. A leopard has killed a baby girl in Pokhara. The wild beast attacked and killed nine-year-old Puja BK of Pokhara metropolis-32, Kothegaun on Thursday night, shared Police Inspector at District Police Office Kaski Narahari Adhikari. Her parents Deepak and Apsara BK had immediately searched for Puja after she did not return home till the evening. Police personnel and locals had intensified the search for the missing girl. Inspector General of Armed Police Force (APF) Shailendra Khanal has conferred insignia on five newly promoted officials. At a programme organized at APF headquarters Halchowk on Thursday, IGP Khanal conferred insignia to newly promoted Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police. Unveiling the concept paper amidst a programme on Thursday, Chairperson of Youth Development Centre Arun Khadka stressed the need to mainstream youth in the development efforts of the country.
