Meeting for strengthening Nepal-India economic ties

Embassy of India in Kathmandu & Nepal India Chamber of Commerce held a brainstorming session on strengthening Nepal-India economic ties. DCM of Embassy of India in Kathmandu Ms Namgya Khampa welcomed NICCI executive committee & assured support to their endeavors especially in tourism, trade & investment. Issues discussed were : promotion of tourist circuits (Buddhist, Ramayana, Mahabharat, Sikh and Shiva Shakti), attracting Indian investments into Nepal, especially in the emerging sectors and business opportunities in construction and agriculture sectors. Farewell to Switzerland’s Leysin, Cadets and Juniors are Completed

Kathmandu- A Farewell program for the 6th International Training Camp for the Cadets and Juniors, Leysin, Switzerland, from 01 to 07 August 2021 has completed today at Nepal Olympic Building. Under the umbrella of the International Judo Federation (IJF) and the Olympic Solidarity (OS), Sergei Judo Camp Association (SJC) is the organizer of the training camp. Hiranyavarna Mahavihar and Digi Chhen’s Reconstruction work Began

Lalitpur: Hiranyavarna Mahavihar and Digi Che’s Reconstruction work has started . They were damaged due to the earthquake. Reconstruction work of the monastery in Lalitpur district has been started on Thursday in accordance with the traditional culture of Chhema Pooja by their locality. On that occasion, Officials from the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Central Project Implementation Unit, Government of Nepal and INTACH were participated. The monastery is going to built with the help of the Government of India at a cost of Rs. 18.1 corore. The Hiranyavarna Mahavihar, also known as the Golden Temple, is located in the memorial area of ​​the Patan Durbar area in Lalitpur, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This temple is one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in Patan. The previous meeting of the working committee had unanimously passed the proposal of president to appoint him as an advisor to the council.
