Kathmandu- The monsoon low pressure axis is situated north of its normal position at present. Moreover, the low pressure area over the north-east parts of India’s Uttar Pradesh has its influence at present in Nepal. Dhading bus plunge : Eight people confirmed dead, 17 rescued

Malekhu (Dhading)-  Aug 23: Eight people are confirmed dead in the Dhading bus accident today. A bus (Province 3-01-005 Kha 9952) heading to Beni of Myagdi district from Kathmandu skidded off the road and plunged into the Trishuli river killing at least eight people and injuring over a dozen others. The deceased included a child and two women, said the local people, who voluntarily involved in rescue efforts.
