Kathmandu – Embassy of India, Pension Payment Office (PPO), Dharan has completed blood donation program in Dharan. PPO organized a blood donation program in its office premises last Saturday in coordination with Nepal Red Cross Society as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

According to Nepal Red Cross Society, a total of 283 pints of blood were collected in the program conducted from 8 am to 5 pm. Which is the highest number of pints of blood collected by any organization in a single blood donation camp in Sunsari district in the current fiscalyear. The collected blood has been handed over to the Nepal Red Cross Society.

In the program Major  Bharat Kanojiya,, Officer-in-Charge of PPO Dharan expressed his gratitude to every person who participated in this great work and helped to make this great work a success.

Ex-servicemen and dependents of Indian Army from Sunsari, Dhankuta, Udaipur, Morang and Jhapa districts, National Investigation Department, Nepal Police, Nepal Traffic Police, Nepal Army, Deputy Metropolitan Municipality, Dharan, BPKIHS, Delhi employees participated in the ceremony.
