Kathmandu- MetLife Nepal has started operations of its Gandaki Province Office in Pokhara, aiming to provide faster, easier and more quality services to customers across the province.
The new office has been established at Avyakt Complex in New Road, Pokhara Metropolitan City–8. The company said the office will bring insurance-related services closer to customers, insurance agents and business partners in Gandaki Province.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Shambhu Prasad Mishra, head of the Gandaki Province Office of the Nepal Insurance Authority, along with senior officials of MetLife Nepal.
Through the new provincial office, customers will be able to access insurance consultation, policy-related services, claims assistance and other customer support facilities more conveniently from within the province.
The company said the office will also provide necessary support to insurance agents and business partners, helping make service delivery more effective and accountable.
Speaking on the occasion, MetLife Nepal General Manager Nirmal Kaji Shrestha said Gandaki is a province of hardworking, ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals, families and businesses that are making important contributions to Nepal’s economic and social development.
He said the establishment of the provincial office reflects MetLife’s long-term commitment to the region.
“We believe insurance services should be accessible, convenient and useful according to the needs of customers and local communities. Through this office, we will work more closely with our customers and contribute to securing their financial future and strengthening their confidence,” Shrestha said.
MetLife said the new office will strengthen cooperation with local communities, support the professional development of insurance agents and expand collaboration with businesses and various institutions across the province.
MetLife Nepal, a subsidiary of MetLife, Inc., has been operating in Nepal since 2001. The company provides life insurance, accident and health insurance, and group insurance products to individual and institutional customers.
