Kathmandu- A Nepali urologist has earned international recognition after being invited to serve as an international faculty member at the prestigious Bengal Urological Society (BUS) Meeting, where a live surgical workshop was conducted at R.G. Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata, India.

The academic event brought together renowned urologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals from across the region to discuss the latest developments in urological surgery, innovation, and patient care. As an international faculty member, the Nepali specialist actively participated in the live surgical workshop, sharing expertise and engaging in scientific discussions with fellow experts.

The invitation underscores the growing global recognition of Nepali medical professionals and their contributions to advancing urological science through international collaboration and academic exchange.

Reflecting on the occasion, the urologist expressed deep appreciation to Prof. Sandeep Gupta for the gracious invitation and exceptional hospitality. Calling the experience both an honor and a privilege, the specialist noted that being part of such a high-caliber academic program provided an invaluable opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional partnerships, and contribute to the advancement of urological education.

The Bengal Urological Society meeting is regarded as one of the leading academic platforms for urologists in eastern India, featuring live surgical demonstrations, expert lectures, case discussions, and interactive scientific sessions aimed at promoting excellence in urological practice.
