TV Awards Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Vienna, Austria, the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards is held each year in Cannes, France — the legendary home of world cinema. As the only international festival of its kind held in this iconic city, it sets the global benchmark for corporate films, online media productions, documentaries, and reports.

The festival's jury has historically included Oscar  and Emmy  winners, and its coveted Dolphin Trophies in Gold, Silver, Black, Blue, and White are recognised as the highest honours in the corporate film world.

The 2026 edition — the 17th instalment — features 63 competitive categories and welcomes entries from film producers, agencies, clients, broadcasters, and students worldwide.

A Creative Career Built on Nepal's Stories With over 35 years of experience in advertising, brand strategy, creative direction, film production, and public relations, Ranjit Acharya has been one of the defining voices of Nepal&39;s communications industry. Under his leadership, Prisma Advertising has earned four consecutive Best Agency of the Year titles and become Nepal&39;s most awarded independent advertising
agency. His landmark campaigns include Coca-Cola Nepal&39;s iconic “Mann Kholaun Coke Sanga” -and the historic rebranding of Mero Mobile to Ncell — the latter featuring Nepal's first-ever purple newspaper masthead takeover.

He has crafted iconic slogans, “Mutu Chahinchha Mutu” to “Mood Change Turuntai”, “Chiso Bhanekai Coca-Cola” to “Gari Khana Deu”, which have become common phrases in the everyday life of Nepali Consumers.

His international accolades include the Bell Ringer Award 2000 (Johnson & Johnson, USA), the ABBY Award 2007 (Ad Club Mumbai), and, most recently, the BrandLaureate BestBrands Award 2025 in Singapore — making Prisma Advertising the first Nepali agency to receive this recognition.

Beyond advertising, he serves as Managing Director of Neelbarahi Films, Founder Director of Biscope Cinema, Chairperson of Sanskriti International School, and Chairperson of DNA Pvt. Ltd. He is also a Distinguished Toastmaster with 26 years of Toastmasters leadership, having served as District Director (2021–22).

He is the sole recipient from Nepal of the highest individual award, “Presidential Citation 2018”, awarded by Toastmasters International to its members and leaders.
