Kathmandu – Girish Chandra Murmu, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, who is on a visit to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
In the meeting held today at Singh Darwar, they discussed various issues of Nepal-India audit, including capacity building and experience sharing. Rupak Sapkota informed.
Prime Minister Dahal has expressed his belief that the recent cooperation and experience exchange agreement between the offices of the Auditor General of Nepal and India will help in the public audit of both countries.
The Auditor General of India, Murmu, mentioned that he had received information about the audit of Nepal, and expressed his belief that in the future, the auditors of the two countries would be able to learn from each other’s experience and skills.
In the meeting, Auditor General of Nepal Toyam Rai, Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Dr. Sapkota and high officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present.
