Kathmandu- Ather Nepal has expanded its nationwide electric mobility network with the opening of its 16th Experience Center at Birendranagar-12, Airport Chowk, Surkhet.
The new Experience Center, inaugurated on Ashoj 5, 2083, aims to bring Ather’s electric scooters, advanced technology and customer-focused ownership services closer to customers in Surkhet and the wider Karnali region.
Customers can explore Ather’s latest electric scooters, including the Ather 450 series and Ather Rizta series, through product demonstrations and test rides.
Performance Meets Technology
The Ather 450 series combines performance, technology and everyday practicality. The latest models feature technologies such as Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and voice interaction.
Magic Twist allows riders to control deceleration through the accelerator grip, reducing the need for frequent braking. Infinite Cruise is designed to make longer rides more convenient by allowing riders to maintain a set speed, while voice interaction enables supported functions to be controlled through voice commands.
The Ather Rizta is designed for modern family mobility, with a longer seat and a focus on comfort and everyday practicality.
Strengthening the Ownership Ecosystem
Alongside its retail expansion, Ather Nepal is also focusing on strengthening its charging and service infrastructure across the country.
Under Ather’s Eight70 battery warranty, customers can receive coverage for up to eight years or 80,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Battery replacement is covered if battery health falls below 70%, subject to applicable warranty terms.
Ather Nepal currently has more than 10 authorized service centers and over 50 fast-charging points across Nepal. The company says the growing network is intended to provide customers with greater confidence in long-distance travel and reduce concerns related to charging availability and range.
The expansion into Surkhet marks another step in Ather Nepal’s efforts to make electric mobility more accessible in western Nepal and the Karnali region.
