The Kavre District Administration Office has enforced curfew in some areas of Panauti bazaar for indefinite time since 9.00am this morning. The curfew is in effect in the area up to 800 metres on the way east to Shankhu from Panauti bazaar, one kilometer on the way to Kushadevi in the west, one kilometer to northern Banepa, and one kilometer to Bethanchowk in the South. Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timilsina informed that the curfew was enforced to avoid any possible untoward incident after the situation today was also likely to go worse. “We have clamped the curfew as the incident of Monday is likely to continue to worsen the situation today”, he said. A tipper had knocked down pedestrian mother and daughter at Panauti municiplaity-5, Bus Park in Kavrepalanchowk on Monday.
