Kathmandu- MAW Rides Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Yamaha two-wheelers in Nepal, is set to unveil the highly anticipated Yamaha XSR 155 at the NADA Auto Show 2026.
The auto show is being held from August 25 to 30 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu. Under the campaign theme “Born to Stand Apart,” Yamaha will give motorcycle enthusiasts their first opportunity to experience the new retro-modern motorcycle in Nepal.
The Yamaha XSR 155 combines classic motorcycle styling with modern performance and technology. It features a distinctive teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round LED headlamp, flat bench-style seat and clean, minimalist bodywork.
Powered by a 155cc engine, the XSR 155 is designed to offer a balance between everyday urban riding and engaging performance. The motorcycle combines a classic design with modern features to create a distinctive riding experience.
Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of MAW Group, said Yamaha is excited to introduce a motorcycle with a distinctive identity to the Nepali market. He said the “Born to Stand Apart” campaign celebrates individuality and personal style.
Yamaha Nepal will also open an exclusive pre-booking window for the XSR 155 at the NADA Auto Show. Customers interested in purchasing the motorcycle will be required to pre-book it one month in advance.
Visitors can experience the XSR 155, interact with Yamaha product specialists and place their pre-bookings at the Yamaha stall during the NADA Auto Show. The stall will remain open from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM throughout the event.
