Orientation on gender friendly Sub-Metropolis

A daylong orientation has been organized here for people’s representatives and stakeholders to make Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis gender-friendly.

At the programme, Deputy Mayor Sushila Bhatta said the orientation was expected to help reduce gender discrimination at workplace. Collective efforts were necessary to end gender discrimination at home and society.

It has informed at the event that Sub-Metropolitan Office had set up separate rooms for breast feeding and disability service for the service seekers. RSS
