Kathmandu-  The NADA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu has attracted a large crowd despite heavy rainfall. The third day of the six-day expo, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NADA), saw a significant number of visitors despite the unfavorable weather.

More than 77,000 people have visited the expo in three days. Around 29,000 visitors attended on the first day, 26,000 on the second day and more than 22,000 on the third day.

More than 55 automobile brands have displayed their vehicles at the expo. Distributors are attracting visitors by unveiling new models and showcasing a wide range of vehicles.

The wide range of options has also made it easier for visitors to select vehicles according to their needs and budgets.

Bikram Subedi of Bhaisipati, Lalitpur, said the expo offers vehicles across different price ranges. According to him, four-wheelers priced from around Rs. 1.6–1.7 million to more than Rs. 30 million are being displayed at the expo.

Two-wheelers have also attracted a significant crowd, with young visitors showing particular interest in premium brands.

Visitors said the expo provides an important opportunity to book vehicles according to their purchasing capacity. They are particularly interested in battery capacity, motor performance, driving range, after-sales service, battery warranty and guarantee, and resale value.

Companies are also offering various incentives to attract customers, including price discounts, one-year insurance, one-year vehicle tax, free servicing and loans at reduced interest rates.

So far, different brands have unveiled 52 new vehicle models at the expo. Organizers expect around 150,000 people to visit the expo during its six-day run.

The second edition of the expo has been organized with the objective of promoting a sustainable, green and technology-friendly transportation system in Nepal. The expo will continue for six days, until August 16.
