Kathmandu- A grand welcome and subject orientation program for newly enrolled first-semester students was successfully concluded at Hetauda Campus under Bagmati University.

The program was held on 28 Baishakh 2083 in Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province. The event was chaired by Hetauda Campus Chief Dr. Dev Chandra Manandhar, with Bagmati University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kusum Raj Subedi as the chief guest. Campus Management Committee Chairman Ananda Ram Parajuli attended as the special guest.

The program was attended by members of the campus management and organizing committees, social workers, the assistant campus chief, professors, journalists and a large number of students.

Addressing the program, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kusum Raj Subedi said students no longer need to go abroad or to other cities in search of higher and quality education, as quality higher education is increasingly available within the province.

Special guest Ananda Ram Parajuli expressed confidence that Hetauda is emerging as an outstanding educational hub. He congratulated the newly enrolled students and wished them success and a bright future.

Campus Chief Dr. Dev Chandra Manandhar welcomed the new students and emphasized that quality education is one of the foremost needs of today. He said Hetauda Campus is committed to producing skilled and professional human resources capable of competing at the international level.

The campus aims to provide modern, affordable and accessible education locally. It has also expressed its commitment to publishing examination results on time to save students’ valuable time.

Currently, Hetauda Campus offers contemporary academic programs including B.I.T., B.H.M., B.Ed., B.B.A. and B.A.LL.B. under the semester system. The programs have provided students from Hetauda and surrounding areas with an opportunity to pursue quality, technical and professional education at an international standard without leaving their hometown.
