Kathmandu- Global home appliance giant Haier Smart Home has strengthened its position in the Fortune Global 500 list, moving up 12 places to rank 378th in the 2026 edition released on July 28.
The company said its continued global brand expansion, strong market presence, and enterprise-wide integration of artificial intelligence (AI) have played a key role in achieving this milestone. Haier Smart Home has remained on the Fortune Global 500 list for the ninth consecutive year.
Operating a diverse brand portfolio including Haier, Casarte, Leader, GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, AQUA, and Candy, the company continues to expand its presence in the global smart home and home appliance markets.
According to Haier Smart Home, its brands independently conduct research and develop products based on local market demands, helping them maintain leadership in different regions. In North America, GE Appliances has maintained a leading position for four consecutive years, while the company’s X11 washing machine, designed for the European market, has achieved sales of more than one million units across over 20 countries.
The company has also expanded its manufacturing capabilities in Southeast Asia by establishing new air conditioner production facilities. At the same time, Haier has developed its own AI models and integrated technology platforms to improve internal operations and enhance efficiency.
Haier’s AI digital assistant, “Zhi Shao Neng,” is currently supporting more than 60,000 users. The company claims that AI-based solutions have reduced product development cycles by 30 percent, increased production efficiency by 20 percent, and helped continuously reduce administrative and sales expense ratios over the past five years.
Haier Smart Home’s AI-powered smart home ecosystem currently has more than 130 million registered users worldwide, with annual interactions between users and AI exceeding 86.1 billion times.
Euromonitor International has recognized Haier Smart Home as the world’s leading smart home company based on sales volume. The company says its transformation from a traditional home appliance manufacturer into a global smart home technology leader continues to drive its growth and competitiveness worldwide.
