First successful appendicitis surgery at provincial level Bajrabarahi Chapagaun Hospital

Kathmandu – The Bajravarahi Chapagaun Hospital in Lalitpur has had its first appendicitis surgery. The hospital chief, Dr. Ankur Poudel, led a successful operation on a 45-year-old woman with appendicitis on Paush 23. A team including Dr. Deepak Lohala and Dr. Rajendra Maharjan participated in the surgery. The patient arrived at the hospital on push 22nd with severe abdominal pain. After the necessary check-ups, the patient was diagnosed with appendicitis, and the surgery was performed the next day.
