The bank’s Board of Directors, in its meeting held on Friday, assigned him the role for the next four years. Ghimire, who was serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO), began his banking career at Nepal Bangladesh Bank. Kathmandu- The Indian Embassy in Nepal has organized the Ambassador Invitational Golf Tournament 2025 at the Gokarna Resort in Kathmandu. Kathmandu– A consortium of banks led by Laxmi Sunrise has signed a facilities agreement with Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. to finance 180 Megawatts peaking run-of-the-River Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower Project. The project is being constructed at Kaligandaki River of Mustang and Myagdi districts with an estimated project cost of NPR 39.51 billion.
