Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Launches Nursing Care Room and Day Care Facility to Support Working Mothers

Kathmandu- Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Ltd. has launched a Nursing Care Room and Day Care Facility at its Central Office in Durbar Marg to support working mothers and promote a more inclusive workplace. The initiative was introduced to mark World Breastfeeding Week 2026 (August 1–7). According to the Bank, the new facility has been established to provide breastfeeding mothers with a safe, comfortable, hygienic, and private space to nurse and care for their infants while at work.
