Kathmandu-  Germany has announced a comprehensive assistance package worth around €8 million for Nepal to support communities affected by the recent Bhotekoshi floods and assist the country’s recovery efforts. According to the German Embassy in Kathmandu, the support combines emergency humanitarian assistance, development cooperation and funding through European and multilateral mechanisms. Germany is providing more than €500,000 in emergency relief supplies through the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism at the request of the Government of Nepal. Kathmandu- The Mobile Phone Importers Association (MPI) Nepal has provided financial support of NPR 3.1 million to assist the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the devastating flood and landslides in the Bhotekoshi River area of Rasuwa on August 26, 2026.
