Kathmandu- The Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in thousands of deaths in the nation and has upended daily life for millions of people across the country. In the wake of growing COVID-19 pandemic, an initiative was launched with an intention to deliver freshly prepared, nutritious and delicious wholesome meals to the frontline workers, healthcare workers, security personnel and even patients and families suffering from COVID-19 along with people in need of food reliefs. This is a challenging time for many people right now. As COVID-19 plagues the world, it is important that we all remain connected as a community, and for the frontline workers to know that we value their selfless service in such a critical time. Food for life Nepal has always been about a promise to provide nutritious meals to the school going children and now with this program, — we are continuing to fulfill our promise to support those most in need of help, those who are serving us selflessly. We are serving 500 cooked nutritious meals every day in different parts of Kathmandu ensuring all the required safety standards of Covid-19. Our wholesome meal costs only NPR 80. With our capacity to cater up to 1,500 meals per day, we request everyone to be a part of this campaign to reach out those most in need of help. The rising food insecurity has led...
