AdampurPrime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian armed forces at the Adampur Air Base today, following the successful completion of Operation Sindoor, a high-precision military operation against terror bases in Pakistan. Hailing the courage and coordination of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and BSF, the PM said the operation had sent a strong message that India will no longer tolerate terrorism or nuclear threats.
The Prime Minister emphasized that India had acted with speed, precision, and restraint. “You entered their territory and destroyed the very foundations of terror. The entire nation is proud of you,” he told the personnel. The PM praised the armed forces for carrying out complex airstrikes deep inside enemy territory while ensuring no civilian casualties, even as Pakistan used passenger planes as cover.
PM Modi declared that Operation Sindoor represents India’s new approach to national security. He outlined three key principles: India will retaliate to terror on its own terms, will not accept nuclear blackmail, and will treat both terrorists and their sponsors equally. “This is the new normal,” he said, drawing cheers from the troops.
Highlighting the strength of India’s defense systems like Akash and S-400, and the role of indigenous technologies, the PM said India’s air defense had foiled repeated attacks. “Pakistan’s drones and missiles were destroyed before they could touch our soil,” he said, lauding the Air Force’s preparedness.
The address ended with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”, as PM Modi reminded the world that while India seeks peace, it is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty with decisive force.
