Virginia- Two books written by Nepali writer are launched by US Senator Books written by the Nepali writer, Pashupati Ghimire, were recently unveiled in Richmond, Virginia, USA, by Senator Schuyler T. Van Valkenburg .

Titled “Wandering Words” and “Three Dimensions of Buddhism,” these English-language publications were jointly presented on Sunday at a ceremony attended by Ghimire, the President of the Nepali Community of Richmond, Virginia, Chandra Malla, NACC member Ghanendra Lamichhane,Roshan Ghimire and other distinguished guests. Pashupati Ghimire, a former journalist and writer, had released his latest book, a travelogue titled “Wandering Words” few days ago.

The book’s subtitle, “Some Waves from Three Continents,” hints at the diverse range of destinations explored in the collection. Within the book, Ghimire shares eighteen captivating travelogues that take readers on an exhilarating journey through ten countries across three continents: North America, Europe, and Asia.

From the vibrant landscapes of United States,Puerto Rico,Mexico and the Bahamas in North America to the picturesque charm of France, Switzerland, Greece, and the United Kingdom in Europe, and the enchanting allure of Nepal, India, and South Korea in Asia, Ghimire’s travels paint vivid and beautiful travel stories. In an interview, Ghimire expressed his passion for travel and his commitment to documenting his experiences.

He explained, “Whether you call it a travel narrative or a travel memoir, it can be understood,It can be recognized by its diverse colors . You can give it any name. I have attempted to weave a garland of experiences and feelings along the thread of this journey. I have tried to listen to the voice of my heart.” Ghimire’s journey was a symphony of emotions, and wherever he wandered, he was captivated by the fragrance of colorful flowers.

In the Ceremony,welcoming the Nepali New Year 2082, Senator Valkenberg presented a Commending Resolution on behalf of the state of Virginia to the Nepali Community of Richmond, Virginia (NCRVA).

The resolution was presented at an event that drew approximately two hundred Nepalis, who gathered to celebrate the organization’s active involvement and contributions to the Nepali community.
