The seventh meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission will be attended by the Foreign Minister of India in Kathmandu. S. Jaishankar is going to come to Nepal.

On behalf of his counterpart, Foreign Minister NP Saud, has invited him to come to Nepal. According to Foreign ministry Jaishankar will be arriving on Thursday (tomorrow).

Jaishankar, Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, Joint Secretary North, Nepal, Bhutan in-charge Anurag Srivastava, Indian Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi and other officials of the Ministry of External Affairs will come to Nepal leading the leadership delegation.

During the visit, Jaishankar will meet Nepal’s leadership and also meet prominent political figures.

It is mentioned in the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the seventh meeting of the Nepal (India) Joint Commission established in 1987 with the aim of reviewing various aspects of bilateral partnership will also review the issues of overall bilateral relations and mutual partnership.
