Damauli (Tanahu)- Eighteen people, including four minors, were injured in a bus plunge at Byas municipality-12 in Tanahu this morning.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mohan Bahadur Khand, the bus with the registration number plate Ga 2 Kha 1459 en route to Pokhara from Muglin fell off the road in course of ‘overtaking’ a tipper, it is said.

The injured are Asima Sahi, 10, of Bhanu municipality-1, Tanahu; Sabita Sunar, 21, and Sabina Sunar, 19 of Bhanu municipality-3; Pradip Godar, 30, of Katahari rural municipality-2, Morang; Suran Rai, 40 and Sumitra Rai,50, of Temkemaiyung rural municipality-9 in Bhojpur; Pillimaya Thapa, 34 of Byas municipality-2; Gyan Devi Shrestha, 52 and Sneha Shrestha, 20 of Bandipur rural municipality-1; Anjal Bhattarai, 21, of Byas municipality-2; and Purna Bahadur Gurung, 41, of Aanbookhaireni rural municipality-5, Tanahu.

Others injured are Babita Thapa, 26 ; Nabin Thapa, 30; Durga Thapa, 12 ; Nabina Thapa, 7 of Bhanu municipality-1; Dipa Thapa, 40, of Byas municipality-2; and Junu Bhattarai, 36 and Purnia Bhattarai, 8 of Byas municipality-1, Tanahu. \Among the injured, ten are being treated in Damauli Hospital and remaining eight in Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital.
