KATHMANDU: Nabil Bank Limited has announced to issue ‘Nabil Debenture 2087’ worth Rs. 3 billion from December 15, 2023. The bank plans to issue 3 million units of debenture with the par value of Rs. 1,000 per unit for total of Rs. 3 billion.

From the total 3 million units, 1.2 million units for value of Rs. 1.2 Billion will be issued to the general public, including a 5% quota (60,000 units for Rs. 60 million) for mutual funds and 1.8 million units for value of Rs. 1.8 Billion will be subscribed through private placement.

According to the bank, individuals can apply for a minimum of 25 units to a maximum of 1.2 million units. The debenture has a maturity period of 7 years and will yield 9% annual returns to unitholders. As per the bank, the early deadline for applying the debenture has set for December 19, 2023. If not fully subscribed by the early closing date, the deadline can be extended till December 29, 2023.
