Kathmandu – India has handed over the fourth phase of relief materials including essential medical supplies.

The material, which was provided as per the demand of the Nepal Medical Association, arrived in Nepal on Monday. Relief materials include essential medicines and equipment.

So far, India has provided more than 34 tons of emergency relief materials to the families affected by the earthquake in and around Jajarkot on 17th October.

India’s commitment to help Nepal under the Neighbor First Policy has been confirmed by the humanitarian assistance provided by India in the Jajarkot earthquake.

It is said that India will continue to provide relief materials based on the criteria and priorities set by the Nepalese government.
