Kathmandu – The interaction program with Indian filmmaker Dr. Dwivedi has wrapped up in hotel Himalayan Kathmandu, Kupandol.

The Program was organized by Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center. The program  held an interaction program with eminent Indian film director and actor Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.

Actor, film director and screenwriter Dwivedi is best known as the director of the 1991 television serial drama ‘Chanakya’. So in the serial drama, he played the role of India’s strategist Chanakya. Film ‘Pinjar’ (2003), serial drama ‘Upanishad Ganga’ (2012), ‘Surajya Samhita’ (2019) and ‘Emperor Prithviraj’ (2022) Dwivedi is familiar as a zinc film director. There were interactions about his love for art, literature and his mixed feelings of running away from life.

According to the Indian Embassy in Nepal, in conversation with Dr. Dwivedele, director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Kathmandu, Dr. Asavari Bapat, he narrated his experience of more than three decades in film production and in the field.

Tell his inspirational story and life’s journey to be an inspiration for the common movie-loving audience. In the same programme, the great hero of Nepal, Rajesh Hamale, also honored him and mentioned that he was the source of inspiration.

He told Kautilya and Vishnugupta that the policies and philosophy of Chanakya, known to him, are equally relevant even today. Famous film producers and directors of Nepal, actors, theater workers and media representatives were present in the programme.
