Kathmandu- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tweeted in Nepali. Expressing happiness during Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s visit to India on Saturday, Modi made four tweets in Nepali including video.

In the first tweet, he said that the passenger train service between Jayanagar and Kurtha is the first broad gauge passenger train link between Nepal and India. Giving information about the railway service between Jayanagar-Kurtha, he wrote, ‘It will play a big role in bringing our people closer.’

 

Similarly, the second tweet is about the Solu Corridor. He said that the Solu Corridor project would make a significant contribution to the development of Nepal.

Her third tweet, including a video of each tweet, is about the availability of Rupee cards in Nepal. He described the move as another big step towards financial connectivity and said it would boost digital payments.

And, in the last tweet, discussing the Nepal-India cooperation towards healthcare, Modi expressed satisfaction over the mutual initiatives and work being done jointly by the two nations. “I am pleased that India and Nepal are working together in the health sector and expanding health infrastructure in Nepal,” he wrote.

Prime Minister Deuba, who left for India last Thursday at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Modi, is scheduled to return home today.
