Parliamentary party meet will settle dispute of speaker selection: Minister Dhakal

Minister for Health and Population, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal, has said that the parliamentary party meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) would settle the dispute related to selection of Speaker.

At a programme organised by NCP Shuklagandaki town committee at Dulegauda today, Minister Dhakal said that the dispute over election of speaker would not remain for long. Saying the parliament has become the captive in lack of election of Speaker, he shared the information that the party would select candidate for the Speaker at consensus.

The Health Minister said that discussion would also be held about Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the parliamentary party meeting. Stressing that party cadres should make the publicity of good works of the incumbent government, he said that the government has been active to materialize ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ campaign.
