Lamjung – The Lamjung-Manang road has been obstructed by a landslide occurred last night, stranding scores of vehicles midway.
The landside has covered around 100 meters at Belauti Bisauni in Bensishahar-6. Efforts are on to clear debris, said assistant Chief District Officer Manohar Thapa.
“A small excavator was used to remove debris, but to no avail as there is a huge amount of debris,” he said, adding the Road Division Office has been coordinated to remove the rubble, and the road would be cleared soon.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Yadav Dhakal said, “We have removed debris from some places for pedestrians to pass and police personnel are helping the passers-by.” (RSS)
