Kathmandu- VG Motors, the official importer and distributor of SRM electric vehicles in Nepal, has announced a new sales target of 10,000 units after successfully selling 1,111 SRM EVs in the Nepali market.
The company, which began its SRM EV journey in Nepal in August 2023, celebrated the milestone with a special event attended by company representatives, customers, business partners, media personnel and other stakeholders.
VG Motors described the achievement as “1,111 Journeys, 1,111 Livelihoods and 1,111 Stories,” highlighting the growing use of SRM electric vehicles in passenger transportation, institutional transport, school services, goods delivery and small businesses.
The company said it is strengthening its after-sales service network, charging infrastructure, technical support and spare-parts availability to support the growing number of EV users.
SRM currently has more than 30 service touchpoints and workshops across Nepal, while more than 100 charging stations have been established as part of the expanding EV ecosystem.
Following the 1,111-unit milestone, VG Motors has set an ambitious target of selling 10,000 SRM electric vehicles across Nepal, with plans to further expand its product range, including electric trucks and an MPV.
