Kathmandu- Preparations for the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), have been completed. The six-day expo will be held from August 11 to 16, 2026 (Shrawan 26–31, 2083 BS) at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
The expo is being organized as one of Nepal’s largest automobile and mobility exhibitions, with more than 55 national and international automobile and mobility brands expected to participate.
The exhibition will showcase new vehicles, electric vehicles, emerging automobile technologies, charging solutions and developments in sustainable mobility. The event is expected to provide visitors with an opportunity to explore the latest products and technologies entering Nepal’s rapidly changing automobile market.
The expo will officially open on August 11 at 9:00 am at the Blue Pavilion Auditorium Hall at Nepal Police Club. Government officials, representatives of diplomatic missions, industry leaders, business representatives, association officials, NAIMA representatives and other stakeholders are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
Alongside the exhibition, NAIMA will organize Learning Sessions, Policy Dialogues and Industry Interactions throughout the six-day event. The sessions will bring together national and international experts, industry leaders, businesses, students and other stakeholders to discuss emerging technologies, policy issues, industry challenges and the future of mobility in Nepal.
NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya said the expo would not only showcase the current state of Nepal’s mobility sector but also serve as an important platform for shaping its future direction.
According to Vaidya, the expo will bring the latest developments in technology, innovation and sustainable mobility to Nepali consumers while creating opportunities for greater interaction between the industry and the public.
Expo Planning Committee Chair Gaurav Sarada said special priority had been given to learning sessions, training and awareness programs in addition to the main exhibition. The programs are aimed at promoting knowledge sharing, skill development and greater awareness of safe and responsible mobility.
NAIMA Executive Director Rajkumar Dulal said the expo would serve as a platform for exhibition, learning and public awareness. He encouraged stakeholders and visitors to participate in the various learning sessions, policy discussions and industry interactions scheduled during the event.
On the opening day, the expo will remain open to visitors from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm. From the following days, visitors can attend the exhibition from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
