New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described India’s airstrike on Pakistan, named Operation Sindoor, as a moment of great national pride, while highly commending the bravery and professionalism of the Indian Armed Forces.
According to Indian media reports, Prime Minister Modi openly praised the sacrifice, strategy, and swiftness demonstrated by the armed forces in ensuring the nation’s security. He stated that the operation was a historic step taken to safeguard India’s sovereignty and national interest.
In retaliation to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Air Force conducted targeted airstrikes inside Pakistani territory. During a cabinet meeting where details of the operation were shared, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that Operation Sindoor had sent a clear message about India’s military strength. “This was not just a military operation—it was a firm assertion of India’s right to self-defense,” he stated.
Cabinet ministers present at the meeting congratulated Prime Minister Modi for his decisive leadership and expressed deep pride in the courage and success of the Indian military.
