Kathmandu – A total of 19 senior representatives from Nepal, including officials from the government, media, film industry, animation sector, and social media influencers, participated in the ‘WAVES 2025’ summit organized by the Government of India in Mumbai.
The summit was held from May 1 to May 4, 2025 (Baisakh 18–21, 2082 BS), bringing together global leaders in media, entertainment, and technology.
During the event, the Nepali delegates engaged directly with top global CEOs, media strategists, and digital entrepreneurs, witnessing firsthand India’s advancements in media, entertainment, and digital innovation.
Participants from Nepal included high-level government officials, prominent media personalities, filmmakers, social media influencers, and professionals from the animation industry. They actively took part in various sessions of the summit, contributing to discussions and networking platforms.
According to the delegates, ‘WAVES 2025’ opened up exciting prospects for Nepal–India collaboration in film production, content creation, animation, and digital media. The insights and experiences gained from the summit were widely shared by the Nepali representatives through social media platforms, reflecting a shared enthusiasm for deepening creative cooperation between the two nations.
