Let us work and not worry about 2084 BS election : NC general secretary Sharma

Galkot (Baglung)- Nepali Congress general secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has urged the people in the party line to not worry about the election to be held after four years and instead concentrate on development plans.

Speaking at a programme organised by the Nepal Press Union (NPU), Baglung chapter today, the leader stressed the need of prioritisig the ‘Vision-95’ over the ‘Mission-84’. It is necessary to prepare development plans likely to be carried out till 2095 BS, not to think about the election taking place in 2084 BS, according to him.

Stressing on the need of a substantive development roadmap for the nation, he said, “Though it is not possible right now, it is achievable on the long run”. He also said the NC Mahasamiti meeting scheduled to commence from upcoming February 19 will seriously review the government performance.

“The government performance seems slow and the NC is also the government coalition partner. The meeting will also assess the roles of ministers representing the party. We will be completed to review the pace of government functioning if it is not accelerated.

” He also all political parties to not worry about the election, but get focused on achieving prosperity for the country.
