Kathmandu- Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has launched the new Punch EV and Tiago EV at the ongoing NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Kathmandu.
The new Punch EV has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 3.399 million. However, customers booking the vehicle during the expo can purchase it at a special introductory price of Rs 3.299 million.
Similarly, the new Tiago EV starts at Rs 2.899 million. Customers booking either of the two models during the expo will receive an extended warranty of up to 11 years or 220,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, according to the company.
Speaking at the launch event, Sipradi Trading Chief Executive Officer Rajan Babu Shrestha said the company remained committed to bringing technologically advanced electric vehicles to Nepal.
He said the launch of the new Punch EV and Tiago EV further reflected the company’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle portfolio in the Nepali market. According to him, the two models have been developed to meet the requirements of different categories of customers.
Sipradi Trading Chief Operating Officer Rajesh Prasad Giri said the company was expanding its EV service and charging infrastructure alongside vehicle sales.
“Our commitment to electric vehicles is not limited to selling vehicles. We are also investing in strong infrastructure to provide customers with greater confidence and convenience in using EVs,” Giri said.
According to the company, Sipradi currently operates more than 21 EV service centres, 40 DC charging points and over 150 AC charging points across Nepal.
New Punch EV: Powerful and Technology-Focused Electric SUV
The new Punch EV is based on Tata’s advanced Acti.ev platform and is available with two battery options of 32 kWh and 40 kWh.
Based on testing conducted on Nepali roads, the vehicle can deliver a range of approximately 300 to 325 kilometres on a full charge, depending on the battery variant.
The Punch EV comes with 195 mm ground clearance, a 5-star BNCAP safety rating, six airbags, a 360-degree camera, 1.5 CDC fast charging, a voice-activated sunroof, a 26.03-cm Harman infotainment system and digital cockpit, ventilated seats and a 366-litre boot.
New Tiago EV: Modern and Safety-Focused Hatchback
The new Tiago EV has been introduced as an electric hatchback designed for convenient everyday commuting.
It features a refreshed design, attractive colour options and a range of modern safety and convenience technologies, including a 360-degree HD camera system, a 26.03-cm infotainment system and six airbags.
Visitors to the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 can view both the new Punch EV and Tiago EV at the Tata Motors stall and learn about their features, pricing and special expo offers. Customers can also place bookings during the exhibition.
