Kathmandu-  AI-powered creator marketing platform Veel has officially launched its services in Nepal and India, marking the company’s expansion into South Asia and opening new opportunities for businesses and content creators across both countries.

The platform provides a unified workflow that allows brands to discover creators, manage marketing campaigns, review content, process creator payments, and secure content licensing from a single platform. Businesses in Nepal and India can collaborate with both local and international creators, while creators gain direct access to brand partnerships within the region and worldwide.

The launch event brought together representatives from Nepal’s technology, startup, creator, business, and diplomatic communities to celebrate the company’s regional expansion.

Speaking at the event, Dileep Dhakal, Founder and CEO of Veel, said the launch represents more than an expansion into two new markets, describing it as a commitment to strengthening the creator economy across South Asia.

“Our vision is to make Veel the infrastructure that powers connections between businesses and creators, helping creators build sustainable careers while enabling brands to grow through authentic content,” Dhakal said.

The event was attended by Scott Urbom, Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Nepal, and Dr. Manish Thapa, Honorary Consul of Costa Rica to Nepal and Founding Managing Partner and Managing Director of Global Equity Fund, as chief guests.

Scott Urbom said Veel reflects the spirit of innovation by bringing together American entrepreneurship and Nepali talent to create new opportunities, strengthen commercial ties, and promote shared prosperity.

Founded by Nepali-American entrepreneur Dileep Dhakal, Veel is a video marketing platform that uses artificial intelligence to connect brands and creators through a single integrated workflow. Brands can create campaign briefs outlining products, target audiences, and content requirements, while creators can apply directly or be matched using Veel’s AI-powered recommendation system. The platform also enables video editing, content review, payment processing, and content rights management in one place.

According to the company, Veel currently supports more than 450 brands, over 550,000 verified creators, and operates in 121 countries, serving businesses ranging from startups to global consumer brands.

To strengthen Nepal’s creator economy, Veel has partnered with NCHL, Hamro Pay, eSewa, Khalti, and Fonepay, enabling seamless local payment solutions for both businesses and creators.

The platform is now available through Veel’s official website and the Veel mobile application on Google Play.
