Kathmandu- The second meeting of the project monitoring committee under construction in Nepal-India cooperation has been concluded.

The second meeting of the Project Monitoring Committee was held in Kathmandu on Monday to discuss the Nepal-India Friendship Polytechnic Foundation under construction in Hetauda with the support of the Government of India.

The meeting was co-chaired by Kamal Prasad Pokhrel, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government of Nepal and Satish Sivan, Joint Secretary, Development Partnership Administration Division, Ministry of External Affairs, India.

The overall implementation aspect and progress of the project was reviewed in the meeting. The committee has directed the contractors and consultants to complete the project on time.

Stating that the project could not pick up speed due to the covid epidemic, both sides said that the project has overcome the challenge posed by the epidemic and is now in the final stages of construction.

Similarly, the next meeting of the project monitoring committee between the two sides will be held in a way that is conducive to both the parties.
