Kathmandu –A five-member Progressive Legal Practitioners Committee (PLPC) under the coordination of advocate Ram Prasad Rimal has been formed.
A gathering of progressive legal practitioners of Province No 3 held today formed the five-member committee. The committee was formed with an objective of professional welfare by uniting all progressive legal practitioners of the province, increasing professional activism and providing easy and smooth legal service to the service seekers.
Some 60 legal practitioners from 12 districts of the province had participated in the gathering.
The newly formed committee is to organize an interaction and discussion with legal practitioners regarding its jurisdiction and number of office-bearers and central committee on August 1, said lawyer Ram Sharan Dangol. (RSS)
