Dhadak Music Review is out now. Composed by Ajay-Atul, the music album of Dhadak consists of four tracks. Dhadak stars Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead

Daughter of Sridevi, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her debut with Ishaan Khatter, half-brother of Shahid Kapoor in Dhadak. An official remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, Dhadak is directed by Shashank Khaitan of Dulhania film series fame. Produced by Karan Johar, Dhadak is slated for a July 20 release. While Dhadakis still a week away from its release, the music of the film is out now.

The official music album of Dhadak consists of four songs. The music is composed by Ajay-Atul. They also composed the music of Sairat. The songs are sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale. The lyrics of all four songs are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Let’s check out if the music album of Dhadak is worth lending an ear to or not.

Dhadak

The title track of Dhadak one of the best romantic track to come out of Hindi film industry on recent times. Sung by Ajay Gogavale and Shreya Ghoshal, the song is already a chartbuster and is part of every song lovers playlist, if not already, it will be. The music of the song will remind you of Sapna Jahaan from Brothers, the music of which was also composed by Ajay-Atul. Dhadak title track is a winner.

Pehli Baar

A recreated version of Yad Lagla from Sairat, Pehli Baar is about falling in love for the first time, the innocence of it. Ajay Gogavale’s vocals and Ajay-Atul’s music works and so does Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics. The song works on multiple hearing. This one might just get stuck in your head.

Zingaat

Just like Pehli BaarZingaat too is a remake of Sairat song Zingaat, which is sort of has become the anthem of Marathi speaking listeners. While music remains the same, the lyrics of the song doesn’t work. Also, the Marathi chartbuster had transcended all boundaries and is a hit even in the Northern belt, recreating a song that is still fresh and relevant in everyone’s playlist especially in the age of internet didn’t make sense.

Vaara Re

Another soft romantic track from the album, Vaara Re too is sung by Ajay Gogavale. The music by Ajay-Atul and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya are first rate. This is the only song that hasn’t been promoted at all. I am guessing it’ll be out in a few days. Vaara Re instantly goes to my playlist. Here’s waiting for the video of it.
