Vice-president Nanda Bahadur Pun has expressed the confidence that the government’s policy and programme tabled by the President in the parliament would build a foundation for realizing the slogan of ‘prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepalis’.
Inaugurating an ‘entrepreneur dialogue’ initiated by the Confederation of Nepali Industries here today, he said the upcoming budget based on the policy and programmes would meet the aspirations of the people.
Stating that industrial sector is the major basis for economic prosperity, the Vice-president said an environment favourable for investment has been established following the three tier elections in the country.
Former Industry ministers Mahesh Basnet and Nabindra Raj Joshi and CNI Chair Haribhakta Sharma also pointed out the important role of the private sector in realizing the goal of prosperity.
