Kathmandu: Dharamshala of Budhanilkantha temple is about to be rebuilt. The dharamshala, which has become dilapidated due to long construction period, is being rebuilt with the financial assistance of the Indian Government.

Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority Sushil Gyawali and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Indian Embassy Mrs. Namgy C Khampa have jointly laid the Shilanyas program on Thursday.

India has already committed itself to the protection and restoration of Nepal’s cultural heritage. Under this, India has provided assistance for rehabilitation as per the agreement reached between Nepal and India in August 2017.

This is the third project under the 28 Cultural Heritage Preservation and Rehabilitation Project, which is being constructed at a total financial cost of Rs 5.8 billion Of Indian government.
