NC’s Gauchan elected HoR member from Mustang

Mustang – Yogesh Gauchan of the Nepali Congress (NC) has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Mustang district securing 3,307 votes. According to the Office of the Election Officer in Mustang, Gauchan defeated his closest rival Indradhar Dhandu Bista of the CPN (UML) by a margin of 1,504 votes. Bista received 1,803 votes. Similarly, Aditya Chandra Thakali of the Rastriya Swatantra Party obtained 759 votes. Kathmandu- Ranju Darshana Neupane of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1 by receiving 15,455 votes. Chief Election Officer Churaman Khadka said that 30-year-old Neupane was elected, surpassing her closest competitor Nepali Congress’s candidate Prabal Thapa Chhetri by a margin of 9,091 votes.
