Ncell’s ‘First SIM’ offer to SEE students

Kathmandu: Ncell Axiata Limited has brought a special offer of ‘First SIM’ for SEE students. According to the company, under this scheme, SEE students can avail various benefits including purchase of prepaid SIM for just Rs 1 as well as bonus balance on recharge, free MyFive service and bonus data. The company says that the offer, which is said to come from Tuesday (September 4), can be availed by all the students who have passed the SEE 2078 exam by purchasing a SIM from the nearest Ncell center. Students who get the first SIM under the scheme will get Rs 20 main balance and 150 MB data every day for 30 days on the first recharge of Rs 100 or more within seven days of activating the SIM. Similarly, for every recharge of Rs 50 or more, you can avail various bonus facilities for up to 6 months. On such recharge, students get 500 MB of data valid for 3 days, 50 minutes talk time to call other Ncell numbers and 50 SMS bonuses to be sent to other Ncell numbers. Cricket Head coach Whatmore resigns

Kathmadnu : Nepali national men’s cricket team head coach Dave Whatmore has resigned. His resignation will come into effect after the upcoming Oman series. In an email sent to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Friday, he informed that he will be out of the Nepali team after the triangular cricket series of the upcoming World Cup League Two between Nepal, Oman and the United States. CAN Secretary Ashok Nath Pyakurel confirmed that Whatmore wanted to take leave from the Nepali team citing personal reasons. He is currently in Oman for the triangular series. The Oman series will be held from coming September 13 to 20. In the series, Nepal will play two games each against Oman and the United States. Kathmandu : On behalf of the Government of India, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of India, Ms. Namgya C. Khampa, handed over consignments of flood and landslide relief material worth NPR 8 Crore to Ms. Chanda Chaudhary, Hon. Member of Parliament and President of the Nepal-India Women Friendship Society (NIWFS), and Mr. Narayan Dhakal, President of Pragyik Vidyarthi Parishad (PVP). The relief material includes tents, plastic sheets, sleeping mats and medicines for distribution among flood and landslide affected families in 15 districts of Nepal.
