‘Mrs. Nepal World’ is being organized in Kathmandu

Kathmandu- Nepal’s largest beauty pageant for married women, ‘Mrs. Nepal International’, is being organized as ‘Mrs. Nepal World’ from this year. The competition is being organized by Ribbon Entertainment every year. According to Ribbon Entertainment, the fifth edition of Mrs. Nepal International was held in 2019 BS and the event was postponed due to the Corona epidemic in 2020 BS. With the announcement of the first edition of Mrs. Nepal World this year, the winner of this event will represent Nepal at the Mrs. World to be held in January 2022 in Las Vegas, USA. From this year onwards, Ribbon will select three winners from the same platform, namely Mrs. Nepal World and Mrs. Nepal International, as well as Mrs. Nepal International. Similarly, the winners of Mrs. International Nepal and MS Nepal International will represent Nepal and participate in Mrs. International and Mrs. International to be held in Singapore in 2022. This year will be Nepal’s first participation in Mrs. World. Seventh Constitution Day being celebrated

Kathmandu- The 7th Constitution Day is being celebrated in a grand manner today by organizing a variety of programs at home and abroad. President Bidya Devi Bhandari will be present at a special function to be organized by the Constitution Day Main Ceremony Committee at Sainik Manch Tundikhel this morning. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to address the special function. Nepal’s constitution, drafted by the people’s representatives and issued by the Constituent Assembly, has been described and analyzed as one of the best Constitutions in the world. The Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal has assimilated the principles of republic, federalism, secularism, inclusiveness and proportionality. Critical Care Training for Nurses begins in Hams Today

Kathmandu- Critical Care Training for Nurses has started at Hams Hospital, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu from today. The hospital has started a three-month training from Sunday by organizing a function to enhance the capacity of the nurses serving in the ICU. The training is being provided by the hospital in collaboration with the Critical Care Nursing Association of Nepal (CCNAN). According to him, the hospital had selected nurses for the training through written and oral examinations. Out of which only 31 out of 45 applications were selected for the training. This is the second batch of the training hospital to develop a special course on Critical Care Nursing with the objective of preparing skilled nurses in the field of Critical Care by conducting world class training programs in the country. Earlier, the hospital had conducted Critical Care Nurse Training (CCNTP) for the first time on February 3. In which 31 nurses had participated. Although the previous batch started in Falgun, it was completed only on 3 August due to the Covid-19 epidemic and within a month, the hospital is going to provide training to the second batch again, said Director Poudel. Kathmandu- Himalayan Bank Limited has handed over a computer to the Metropolitan Police. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank handed over two computers to the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor  on Friday. Nepal-India project successful despite Covid-19

Kathmandu- The Nepal-India project has been successful despite the Covid-19 epidemic. This was stated at the fourth meeting of the Joint Project Monitoring Committee, regarding strengthening of road infrastructure under construction in the Terai region of Nepal with Indian co-operation. The meeting, which was held via video conference on Thursday, was co-chaired by Keshav Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Nepal, and Anurag Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Northern Division, India. The meeting reviewed the overall implementation of the Terai Road Project under construction with Indian cooperation. The meeting said that the project has been achieved as 13 out of 14 road packages have been completed. Despite the challenges posed by the covid-19 epidemic, the project has progressed successfully and is in the final stages of construction, with both sides expressing satisfaction over the achievement.
